National Gallery in the "Land of maple leaves"

Dating back to 1880, the gallery has a large and varied collection of paintings, drawings, sculpture and photographs.

Today gallery holds the best works artists` collections in the North American country. Traditionally, the museum is located on country's capital - Ottawa.

Creators of the museum's goal is to support not only the Canadian Art. In the halls of the museum is the creation of the best masters of Europe.

Throughout the territory galleries are various types and forms of art.

For example, Maman (1999) is a bronze, stainless steel, and marble sculpture by the artist Louise Bourgeois. The National Gallery of Canada acquired the sculpture in 2005 for 3.2 million dollars

Stored there as vintage and modern art.

Also, there are many paintings of famous American artist Andy Warhol, who was a leading figure in the pop art.

Pop art-direction in art 1950-1960-ies, which was arose as a reaction to abstract expressionism.

Andy Warhol paintings worth millions. One of his most famous paintings is "200 dollar bills" Silkscreen depicting dollar bills in full size, was made in 1962.

Hay Harvest at Éragny is a 1901 painting by French Impressionist painter Camille Pissarro depicting the hay harvest in the French commune.

Portrait of Madame Récamier is one of 1800 portraits of the Parisian socialite Juliette Récamier by Jacques-Louis David.

The Gallery's collection built through purchase and donations, so still it is updated every year!

Think about it no one has ever regretted! My dream is to visit the National Gallery of Canada!
