Piotr Ilyitch Tchaikovsky Born: Votkinsk, 7 May 1840 Died: St. Petersburg, 6 November 1893 Tchaikovsky is probably most famous for ballet music (The Nutcracker Suite, Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, Romeo and Juliet, Eugene Onehin. His many compositions include 10 operas, 3 ballets, 6 syphonies, 4 concertors, romances, songs аnd instrumental pieces)
Mikhail Ivanovich Glinka (June 1 [O.S. May 20] 1804 – February 15 [O.S. February 3] 1857), was the first Russian composer to gain wide recognition within his own country, and is often regarded as the father of Russian classical music. Glinka's compositions were an important influence on future Russian composers.
Mykola Vitalijovich Lyssenko is a famous Ukrainian composer, pianist , conductor and founder of Ukrainian classical music , wrote 9 operas, among them “Natalka Poltavka “, “Taras Bulba”, “Eneida” and many other pieces.
Ludwig van Beethoven Born: Bonn, 16 December 1770 Died: Vienna, 26 March 1827 Ludwig van Beethoven was baptised on December 17th 1770 at Bonn. His family originated from Brabant, in Belgium. His father was musician at the Court of Bonn, with a definite weakness for drink. His mother was always described as a gentle, retiring woman, with a warm heart. Beethoven referred to her as his "best friend". The Beethoven family consisted of seven children, but only the three boys survived, of whom Beethoven was the eldest.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Born: Salzburg, 27 January 1756 Died: Vienna, 5 December 1791 Along with Haydn, one of the first classical composers. Wrote music of many different genres. Major works would include his Requiem, the operas Nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanniand Die Zauberflöte, the clarinet concerto, the string quartets, the later piano concerti and the later symphonies (numbers 36, 38, 39, 40 and 41).
