The Museum of Modern Art in New York
It is located in Manhattan in New York City, on 53rd Street
Its first exhibition was in small six rooms on the 12th floor
Now The Museum has the best and the biggest collection of modern masterpieces in the world
It also has a sculpture garden and cinema, where the visitors can relax.
The Museum of Modern Art was developed in 1929 by Abby Rockefeller two of her friends. They became known as "the daring ladies".
Its second exhibit in 1930 showed modern works by 19 American artists.
Now it takes the area of 630,000 square feet.
Among just some of the world famous artists whose works you may see at MoMA are Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Jackson Pollock, and Paul Gauguin.
