Ancient people in Russia

The Dnepr We can read about ancient Russian people who lived in the 5-th century. The first tribes lived between the Dnepr and the Dnestr. They were tall and strong with fair hair. Years passed and a lot of tribes were united in the first Slavonic state. It was called “Rus” or “Russian land”.

The people were hunters landowners and cattle breeders. Slavonic tribes liked the liberty and didn’t like slavery. They were brave. They were not afraid of neither a cold nor a hot weather. Their houses were made of wood. The chief was at the head of the tribe.

Ancient people in Russia made war with other tribes. The power of chives began to grow. They became richer than other members of tribes.

The sacrifice In the 8-th century different trades appeared in ancient Russia. at first our ancestors, were pagans. They worshiped different gods.

Novgorod To the end of the 8-th century 2 centers Kiev and Novgorod appeared in ancient Russia.
