to analyze the literary means the author used to describe her heroines and fight for women’s rights at the same time to study the main factors that influenced the lower social status of women in the Victorian age as compared to men ( historical, social, cultural and financial backgrounds) to make a comparative analysis of the leading female characters in Jane Austen’s novels, the role they played both in the plot development and expressing feminist views the author shared
both comedies end with many marriages both full of laughter end with the closeness of families the two are titled similarly have the commonality of complex female protagonists
